MIA in Miami

After a week in New York, me and Rose hopped on a plane to Miami. The first thing that hit us was the heat – it was so bloody hot! We dragged our bags to a taxi and headed for Miami Beach. Compared to New York, the hotel in Miami was unbelievable! When we got to our room and looked out onto the beach, the bar, the pool and the sea we knew it was going to be a good week.

After all the walking in New York, neither of us had any need to do any more – so we didn’t. The beach had a hotel bar with amazing and funny staff that we got to know, it also had WiFi so we set up camp and got out the sun cream (we were the whitest people on the beach by quite a way.) It was the perfect place to relax with my new fiancee and drink ¬†cold Coronas and fruity drinks filled with Rum.

When we finally decided to stop getting drunk on the beach, we got in a taxi and went to Miami’s design district and Wynwood Walls. This place started small and is now massive with cool galleries and bars and cafes, it was the perfect place to spend a day in the sun. I won’t name all the artists but if you want to know any, ask me in the comments section.
